An Escape for writers
Pustnik Screenwriters Residency is a retreat for filmmakers that are writing their first or second feature films. Made by screenwriters for screenwriters, Pustnik takes place at a remote location in Romania as an environment dedicated to peace of mind and clarity of thought.
As a growing network of film professionals, Pustnik is also a community whose aim is to ease and encourage collaboration across the international cinema industry.
The next edition will take place between 15-22 September 2026 and will welcome eight projects from anywhere in the world.
